Through play children make discoveries and through hands on learning, they develop.  Our role as educators of your children is to promote play, offer the freedom to discover, and support each child to develop at their own pace, creating individual learning journeys and educational goals for each child.

Play…

Play meets the children’s needs to discover and explore. Uninterrupted blocks of time are deliberately and purposefully planned for the children to engage in our indoor and outdoor environments.  We value the environment itself as the third educator.  Authentic child-initiated and directed play is purposeful and provides opportunities for learning through discovery.

Discover…

Our educators are co-constructors of knowledge together with your child.  Children are free to discover the environment and all the learning opportunities it provides.  Educators encourage children to ask questions and discuss their thinking and their observations. Children are intrinsically motivated to learn about what interests them, so we support and encourage them to lead their own learning!

Develop…

Your child’s development is as unique as their personality.  Our educators personalise each child’s learning journey through observations, interpreting their learning, planning for ways to extend and enhance their development and then evaluate the entire process.  Long day care is a unique environment where children are developing social competence by sharing their time with peers and educators.  We are developing the whole child and our learning frameworks cater for all learning styles, embracing each child’s unique family culture and heritage.
